That's a great question! A doula's role encompasses three key areas. First, I provide practical support through childbirth and health education to help you feel informed and prepared. Second, I'm here to offer heartfelt emotional support during your pregnancy and especially as you bring your little one into the world. Lastly, I advocate for you and empower you to advocate for yourself throughout the experience. Every journey is unique, and I’m committed to meeting you where you are, ensuring you receive the loving support you truly deserve!

In Tagalog, the word “ate” (ah-teh) means older sister. Saying “ate” shows closeness, trust, and affection, reflecting how Filipino culture values care, guidance, and family-like bonds.

In my doula work, “ate” captures the role I strive to hold — someone steady, nurturing, and reassuring during a deeply personal time. Like an older sister, I offer calm presence, shared wisdom, and advocacy. I also believe support can be fun and light, not just serious. We'll laugh together, ease nerves, and make space for joy, while still making sure you have clear, empowering information at every stage of your pregnancy. My goal is for you to feel informed, confident, supported, and never alone every step of the way.
